Dad accused of neglecting kids breaks into their home armed with gun (Madisonville, Ohio)
This article isn't clear to me in the slightest. Are we saying that dad TYRONE BALLEW broke into the mother's home where the children were staying--while armed with a gun? The same daddy who neglected and abandoned these kids before? Were these parents together or not? Or did Daddy live alone?

MADISONVILLE – A father accused of recently leaving his three young children home alone was arrested this week when he allegedly tried to break into their apartment – while armed with a gun.
Tyrone Ballew, 24, was booked into the Hamilton County jail about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning after Cincinnati police said the youngsters, 1, 3 and 6, were discovered unattended in an unlocked apartment in the 4600 block of Chippewa Street on Aug. 11.
He faces three counts of child endangering and one count of domestic violence in that case.
Law enforcement caught up with him this week when he allegedly tried to break into the Chippewa Street apartment, court records show. At the time, he was armed with a .390 automatic pistol.
No one was injured.
