"Babysitting" dad drinks at bar, while 2-year-old found wandering (Jefferson County, Missouri)

Well, at least we see an explanation as to why dad ROBERT SCHILLER was at a hotel with a 2-year-old child. Seems Daddy was in need of a little, um, libation, and figured a toddler in need of a diaper change didn't fit in with his plans. All the while, poor Mom was in the hospital. Just what she needs. Two immature babies. Or rather, just one. Her baby's father.

(KMOV)-- A Jefferson County man was arrested after his 2 year old daughter was found alone in the halls of the Stratford INN off Interstate 44 last Friday.

Robert Schiller, 38, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities said Schiller was found drinking at the hotel bar while his daughter was alone in a dirty diaper.

Schiller was watching the little girl because her mother is in the hospital.
