HILLSBORO, OH (FOX19) - A Hillsboro father will be tried again for setting a fire that killed his two young sons.

A Highland County jury convicted Wesley Coonrod of child endangering charges, but deadlocked on all other charges, including aggravated murder and arson. Coonrod would have faced the death penalty if convicted of killing the 3- and 4-year-old boys.

Coonrod was scheduled to be sentenced Friday, but that was delayed and a new trial was tentatively set for January of 2011.

Prosecutors have a month to decide which charges Coonrod will face in retrial.
