Child, five, missing since July
Police are growing "increasingly concerned" about a five-year-old girl who has been missing since she went on holiday with her father in July.
Anna Munyasa, from Washwood Heath, Birmingham, went on holiday with 39-year-old Remigius Munyasa.
There was an unconfirmed sighting of Mr Munyasa in Wolverhampton on Wednesday, but he was "evidently not living at his flat" in Birmingham, police said.
The girl's mother, Rosemary Kimolo, said it was like "living in hell".
'So sad'
Mr Munyasa, who is separated from Anna's mother, went on holiday with the child on 26 July.
He does not have a permanent job and police said they were worried about where the pair were sleeping and how the father was able to feed and clothe his daughter.
But the West Midlands force said it was not concerned that Anna would come to any physical harm while she was with her father.
Rosemary Kimolo said starting school was "all she could talk about"
The girl's mother said missing her fifth birthday on 4 September "broke" her heart.
In a statement, she added: "We had planned a big party to celebrate her birthday and the fact that she was about to start her school life a few days later - it was all she could talk about.
"She was excited about becoming such a big girl.
"I am so sad that she has missed out on a milestone in her life.
"Seeing all the shops getting ready for Christmas only reinforces the fact that she is not with me."
There was an unconfirmed sighting of Mr Munyasa on his own in West Park in Wolverhampton on Wednesday.
There was another unconfirmed sighting of the man and his daughter at the start of October on Howard Street in the city near to the Matalan shop.
'No sign'
Det Insp Jon Thursfield, from Queens Road police station, said: "We believe that Anna and her father may have visited Coventry, Nottingham and Glasgow.
"There has been some suggestion that they have travelled to Tanzania although there is no evidence to support this."
There had been "no sign" of the pair at the flat Mr Munyasa rents in Birmingham city centre, police said.
The force expressed concern about the "emotional and psychological effects" the prolonged separation from her mother would have on her.
Anna has been described as five years old, 3ft tall and of slim build, with brown eyes and long black hair.
Mr Munyasa has been described as black, about 5ft 8ins tall, clean shaven and having short black Afro-Caribbean hair with grey flecks.
