Drunk dad lets 15-year-old son drive home (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Dad MISAEL V. REYES has been charged with misdemeanor child abuse for letting his 15-year-old son drive him home while he (Dad) was intoxicated.

A 35-year-old Charlotte man was allegedly intoxicated when he decided to let his 15-year-old son drive him home Monday, according to a warrant affidavit.
Gaston County Police charged Misael V. Reyes of New Sheldon Drive with misdemeanor child abuse. He was booked into Gaston County Jail under a $1,000 bond.
Officer G.J. Kuzia stopped the 15-year-old at I-85 and Exit 27 in eastern Gaston County. The warrant does not indicate what led Kuzia to stop the boy and his father.
