Dad denies breaking leg of 1-month-old son (Spring Grove, Illinois)
Dad BRIAN E. FELCH has been arraigned on a felony count of aggravated battery to a child. His 1-month-old son has a broken leg. Dad has pleaded not guilty. I mean really, there are just so many ways you can break your leg, aren't there? Rock climbing, downhill skiing....Just one little problem: it's just a little tough to do those things when you're 1 month old.

WOODSTOCK – A 44-year-old Spring Grove man officially denied allegations that he broke his 1-month-old son’s leg in August.
Brian E. Felch, of 208 Dannell Place, was arraigned Thursday on a felony count of aggravated battery to a child and pleaded not guilty. Felch, who is free after posted $5,000 bail this month, is next due in court Dec. 3.
Felch and the baby’s mother took the child to Centegra Hospital – McHenry early Aug. 21, police said. The baby was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, and medical personnel ultimately determined that there was a high probability that the injury was caused by abuse.
The criminal investigation focused on events at Felch’s home the night before the baby was taken to the hospital.
If convicted of the charge, Felch could be sentenced to between six and 30 years in prison.
