(News 4 WOAI) SAN ANTONIO - A Seguin father will spend 18-years in state prison for the 2006 death of his three-month-old son. Eddie Zamora, 39, had been charged with capital murder, but as part of a plea deal he received the lesser charge of manslaughter. Zamora threw the child so hard it caused severe head injuries.
Another Seguin father charged in the death of his 27-day-old daughter now knows when his trial will begin. Michael League is accused of throwing the infant on an ottoman because she wouldn't stop crying, back in April of 2007. Two days later the girl died. League's trial is slated to begin March 1st of next year.
