Poor daddy ANTHONY ARCHULETA was just all stressed out from his infant son crying (Imagine that! A baby crying! How dare he!). So Dad squeezed him hard enough to crack his ribs. Hopefully, Dad won't have to deal with the crying baby anymore, because he'll be removed from the home, his parental rights terminated, and he'll be thrown in jail. Well, at least we can wish.

A Colorado Springs dad is arrested and charged with felony child abuse for squeezing his infant son.

Anthony Archuleta, 22, is accused of cracking his son's ribs after the child began crying.

Police were called to Memorial Hospital on Saturday for suspicious injuries on a child. Detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit responded. "It was determined that the child suffered from broken ribs, suspected of child abuse," said Sgt. Michael Spitzmiller from the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Investigators say the child suffered multiple rib fractures after his 22- year-old father forcefully squeezed the child.

The father was booked into the Criminal Justice Center on a felony charge of Child Abuse for causing serious bodily injury to the child.

The condition of the 2 month old is unknown, but remains hospitalized.

11 News checked to see if Archuleta has a criminal past. We found he was arrested several times, and plead quilty to a misdemeaor charge of theft.
