Dad passes out from drugs, so 5-year-old boy calls mom to be picked up (Jacksonville, Florida)
Dad DENNIS MORGAN RIGGS has been charged with child neglect and drug possession after calling police to report his 5-year-old son was missing. What apparently happened is that dad passed out (from what drug is not specified), so the boy called his mother to be picked up (unverified comments accompanying this article say that Dad is CUSTODIAL, and Mom apparently just had visitation). So Mom did and took the child to her house. According to the boy, Dad just "sleeps all day." Kids need this?
