Dad murders wife, 2 sons, self; 12-year-old daughter survives by hiding in bathroom (Amman, Jordan)
UNNAMED DAD murdered his wife and two sons, ages 5 and 9, before killing himself. The 12-year-old daughter managed to survive with minor injuries by hiding in the bathroom. It seems that the police in Jordan ask pointless questions about "motive" too--just like the police in the U.S. Why do theses fathers kill? Because they see their wives and children as disposable possessions, that's why.

Father murders wife, 2 children before killing self

AMMAN - A 37-year-old Jordanian pharmacist on Sunday reportedly killed three of his family members then turned the gun on himself in his house in Rabia neighbourhood, official sources said.
In addition to the father, who works as a professor at a community college, the victims included his 40-year-old wife and their two sons aged nine and five, an official source told The Jordan Times.
A third child, a 12-year-old girl, survived the shooting spree that started around 5:00am with minor injuries after hiding in the bathroom of her house, the source added.
"We still do not have a motive for this unfortunate incident and Criminal Prosecutor Jehad Duradi is questioning relatives and neighbours to establish a motive," Police Spokesperson Major Mohammad Khatib said.
A second source said the sole survivor in the shooting incident informed the authorities that she woke up around 5:00am after hearing sounds of gunshots being fired in her home.
"When she peeked from the door she saw the father shoot at her brothers, who were sleeping, then run after the mother and shoot her to death," the source said.
The child said she started running towards the bathroom when her father saw her and fired one round that struck her in the abdomen, according to the source.
"The father shouted at his daughter to get out of the bathroom but she refused so he fired several rounds through the door including a bullet that hit the girl in the leg," the source said.
The child then heard one shot, then silence, the source added.
The young girl decided to leave her hiding place after establishing that her father had either left the house or shot himself, the source said, adding that she immediately called the police then fainted.
The three victims each received four bullets to their heads and stomachs from a seven-millimetre gun, while the father shot himself in the head, the source said.
Investigators who questioned the child at her hospital bed were unable to establish a motive “because the girl had no idea why her father did what he did”, the source stated.
The family had returned from Turkey almost four days earlier after spending their annual holidays there, he added.
