Dad charged with filing false child abduction report (Natalia, Texas)
Dad JAMES WAYNE BRADSHAW was apparently intoxicated when he told neighbors that his daughter had been abducted at an Interstate rest stop by two men at knifepoint. Seems none of it was true. Dad has been charged with filing a false police report.

NATALIA, Texas -- A Natalia man lied to police about his daughter being abducted by two men at knifepoint, law enforcement authorities said Tuesday.
Medina County Sheriff Randy Brown said that James Wayne Bradshaw, 33, was charged with filing a false police report.
Bradshaw was being held in the Medina County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
Natalia police told KSAT 12 News that Bradshaw appeared to be intoxicated when he knocked on doors of homes telling homeowners that his daughter was abducted at a rest stop on Interstate 35.
"We went into the mode of Amber Alert," Brown said. "(We) notified every agency we could from here to the border. He indicated his child was being taken to Laredo."
Bradshaw later admitted to police that he made up the story and that he missed his daughter, who lives in San Antonio.
San Antonio police went to check on the girl, who was safe.
