Dad charged with 2nd degree cruelty to a juvenile; 2-month-old baby has serious brain injuries (Junction City, Arkansas)

Dad BRAD TINSLEY has been charged with 2nd-degree cruelty to a juvenile after his 2-month-old child was found to have serious brain injuries. The baby is in critical condition. Authorities learned that Dad was alone with the baby when the injuries occurred.

Man charged with cruelty to a juvenile

Bradley Tinsley, 22, 411 E. Fifth St., Junction City, was booked into Union Parish Detention Center on Tuesday on a charge of second-degree cruelty to a juvenile.

According to a news release, Union Parish deputies were notified by the Sheriff's Office in Union County, Ark., that a 2-month-old child was brought to an El Dorado hospital Saturday with serious brain injuries.

The child was later transferred to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock in critical condition.
After an investigation, deputies found the incident occurred in Union Parish.

Deputies learned the child had been in the care of the father when the injuries were inflicted. The news release states the penalty for such a crime is up to 40 years in prison.

Bradley's bail is at $50,000.
