Dad charged with 1st-degree murder in death of infant son (Ionia County, Michigan)

No doubt another "caretaking" daddy who went off on the baby and killed him.

Arthur Thibeault charged with murder of baby son

IONIA COUNTY, Michigan (WZZM) - An Ionia County man is charged in the death of his infant son from earlier this year.

According to the Ionia County Prosecuting Attorney, Keith Arthur Thibeault was arrested September 4, 2012 for felony murder and child abuse in the first degree.

Everette James Thibeault, the son of Keith Thibeault, died on March 25, 2012. He was nearly 3 months old. Everette and his twin brother were in the care of their father on March 24, 2012 at the family's home in Portland.

Everette was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Keith Thibeault is charged with child abuse in the first degree and felony murder. The felony murder charge is because the death happened allegedly during the perpetration or attempted perpetration of child abuse in the first degree, according to the Ionia County Prosecutor.
