Patna: A 12-year-old and his mother were killed in their home on Thursday in Patna with an iron rod. The young child's father, who was seriously injured and was in hospital, was arrested late night. According to police he confessed to the crime last night after an interrogation.
This is the first double murder in the city. The police says the attack took place at noon in the Railway Colony in the heart of the city.
The neighbours called the police after the incident.
So far, the cops have not been able to identify the assailants yet. Though no case has been lodged, police said they have started an investigation in the case.
