Dad charged with homicide in death of 11-month-old daughter; "caretaker" dad blames "too much beer" (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)

Dad LITTLETON JACKSON sounds like one of those abusive deadbeats you just can't get rid of. Was this guy employed? No evidence of it here. Only that Mom worked. Forced to support Daddy's lazy @$$ while he did "caretaking"? Wouldn't surprise me.

Notice that Mom is blamed for "failing to cooperate" with prosecutors in the past, for Jackson's abuse against HER. This is blaming-the-victim at its finest. In fact, the Milwaukee area is infamous for trashing domestic violence victims and failing to help them or protect them. Here's just the latest example.

For his part, this violent, short-tempered freak claims he couldn't help but kill this 11-month-old baby because "he got mad when she started crying." And then there's the blame-it-all-on-the beer line. Classic. It's never Daddy's fault, is it? It's Mom's fault. It's the baby's fault. And it's the beer's fault!!!

Father charged in abusive violent death of 11-month old

MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) - A Milwaukee man was charged Thursday with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of his 11-month-old daughter.

An autopsy showed that young Millie Smith died last Sunday from multiple blunt force injuries – including broken ribs and hemorrhaging.

The father, 29-year-old Littleton Jackson, told officers he drank too much beer – he got mad when she started crying – and he slapped the girl across the face a couple times. But officers the baby’s mother came home to find that the child was bit and heavily bruised throughout her body.

She died later at Milwaukee Children’s Hospital.

Prosecutors said Jackson was abusive to Millie since she was six months old – and he also abused the girl’s mother in the past, but she failed to cooperate with prosecutors in those instances.
