WE SAW DAD KILL MUM

A BROTHER and sister watched in horror as their dad repeatedly stabbed their mum through the heart with a kictchen knife in Broomlands.

Lorna Tannahill, 47, was stabbed to death by Alan Tannahill at the family home in Stronsay Way not long after leaving him for another man in February.

The couple's son Kris, 22, and daughter Amy, 18, heard screams coming from the garage and ran to see the 58-year-old plunge the knife into his wife before shouting "die b**ch die".

Tannahill, who suffers from psychiatric problems, later told police that the devil had entered him and that he "destroyed" his wife to "save her soul".
