Father from hell - He impregnated four daughters then raped their children

THE relatives of a 56-year-old man from the Ohwebede area, outside Gingindlovu, KwaZulu- Natal, who was arrested for allegedly raping four of his daughters, have vowed to take the law into their own hands if he is released.
The man, who may not be named to protect the identities of his victims, also allegedly made three of the daughters pregnant.
The man was arrested in April for allegedly raping his daughters since 1999. He had also allegedly raped his daughters’ children.
The matter was reported to the Gingindlovu police by two of the daughters. They alleged that their father had raped them and their two sisters, who have since died.
Police spokesperson Inspector Mbongeni Mdlalose said one victim claimed that she was made pregnant by her father. She said her child was born in 2003 but died when he was two.
The baby was buried in the Ohwebede area of Gingindlovu.
On April 6, the accused appeared in the Mtunzini magistrate’s court and his case was postponed to April 16 for a bail application, which was subsequently denied.
The court ordered that the boy’s body be exhumed so that tests could be conducted.
Mdlalose said the body was exhumed last week in the Nqutshini area of Gingindlovu and tests were carried out.
The man’s brother told Sowetan yesterday that they hoped “he would rot in jail”.
He said the community was angry over the allegations.
“He slept with all four of his daughters when they were about 12 years old. Three of them fell pregnant and gave birth to girls. He later slept with the grandchildren as well.”
He alleged that his brother had strangled two of his grandchildren.
He said the man fathered two children with his eldest daughter and two each with the other two daughters.
“He strangled the first child and fled to another village. When he started making moves on young girls in his new neighbourhood. The residents chased him out.
“He returned to Ohwebede and continued to rape his daughters and grandchildren until one of them ran away.”
He said the second child that his brother strangled was the boy who was reburied on Tuesday.
“We don’t know what kind of person this is. When I took one of his grandchildren to the doctor he was shocked because she looked older than 12 years.”
