Dad CURTIS MILLER has been convicted of 1st-degree murder in the death of his 3-month-old daughter. She suffered severe head injuries while she was "in his care."

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - An eastern Iowa man convicted in the death of his 3-month-old daughter faces prison time.
Curtis Miller, of West Branch, is to be sentenced on Friday in Linn County District Court. Miller was charged with first-degree murder.
A jury in April convicted him on charges of involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment. Miller's daughter, Kimisha Miller, suffered severe head injuries while in his care in September 2007.
She died about two weeks later. Involuntary manslaughter carries a penalty of 10 years in prison. Child endangerment carries a term of 50 years in prison.
