HOUSTON – Four children, who have been missing since their father took them in a police chase Wednesday, were dropped off at their mother’s house Friday night in southeast Houston.
The children were checked out by medical professionals and found to be in great condition.
They ate candy and played in the KHOU 11 News live truck parked in front of their home.
They children had been last seen in Rosenberg, Texas. Their father, Noe Soto Aranda, 31, is facing felony charges of endangering a child, assaulting a family member and evading arrest. The children's uncle dropped them off. Their father has not been located.
It all started around 5 p.m. Wednesday along the Southwest Freeway at Club Creek when citizens witnessed a couple fighting inside a Ford F-150 and contacted police. They said the man was hitting the woman, who was driving.
Luz Lacayo, who is eight months pregnant, pulled the truck over when she saw a police car’s flashing lights.
That’s when Aranda pushed her out of the truck, jumped into the driver’s seat and took off.
