Dad gets life for murdering mom, her father during custody exchange (Santa Ana, California)

We've reported on this case before. Dad ROBERT LEHMANN was given his "rights" at every step of the way. He had joint custody, and even had total control over the daughter's education. He fought this mother FOR YEARS in court (domestic violence by proxy). He was pretty much coddled by the judiciary, so he just became more and more entitled. Which just meant that he became more dangerous and volatile. 

It is inexcusable that this mother was basically forced to go to the father's home to collect her own child from this freaking lunatic. He basically waited in ambush for her and killed her execution-style. Her father too. 

When are mothers and children going to get their rights?

OC man gets life for killing ex-wife, her father

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — An Orange County man has been sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole for fatally shooting his ex-wife and her father as they arrived to take court-ordered custody of the couple's 7-year-old daughter.

The District Attorney's office said 37-year-old Robert Lehmann of Costa Mesa was found guilty of murder and other crimes by a jury.

Prosecutors say the murders occurred in May 2011 when Lehmann sent the child out of the home with his current wife and waited for Emily and Russell Ford to arrive. When they came to the door, Lehmann shot at the 32-year-old woman and her 62-year-old father.

They tried to run away but Lehmann shot them several times in the back. He then reloaded and shot them repeatedly in the back of the head.
