Dad charged with child neglect after authorities find booze, pot in daughter's room--and a stripper pole in the living room (Lantana, Florida)
Honestly, you couldn't make this sh** up if you tried. Dad ANTHONY GENOVESE sounds more like a frat boy than a daddy. And where is Mom in all this? Sure sounds like a single dad....

He had a stripper pole in his living room, marijuana in an ashtray and liquor bottles in his teenage daughters' room, and the overall effect prompted his arrest Friday on a charge of child neglect, authorities said.
Anthony Genovese, 41, of suburban Lantana was taken into custody after Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies were called to his house on Ocala Road, near Lawrence and Lantana roads about 9:40 a.m.
A deputy who toured the 1,200 square- foot house noted the stripper pole and drugs and then found rum, vodka and champagne bottles in Genovese's daughters' room, he wrote in an affidavit for Genovese's arrest.
The deputy talked to Genovese's 17-year-old daughter, who explained that her sister had a party and her friends brought the alcohol. She said "it got out of hand when the girls started taking off their clothing," the deputy said.
Interviewed at school, Genovese's other daughter, whose name wasn't made public, said the marijuana was hers and that Genovese let her smoke it in the house because there were "worse things she could be doing."
A judge on Saturday ordered Genovese released on his own recognizance.
