A Coshocton man accused in the death of a 2-year-old girl appeared in court Monday for his arraignment hearing.
Officials at the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office say 27-year-old Aaron Holdsworth entered a not guilty plea to charges of murder and child endangering.
Holdsworth is accused in the strangling and beating death of Reina Patterson, the daughter of his girlfriend, Anita Deeds.
Authorities say Holdsworth admitted shaking the young child several times and then throwing her in a playpen on June 2nd.
Patterson died a day later at Akron Children's Hospital.
Holdsworth's bond was continued at $750,000.
He's being held in the Coshocton County jail.
