Child-porn charges for accused killer's dad (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada)

It is not immediately apparent to me how dad SASHA TODOROVICH, who has been charged with possessing child porn, was a supportive presence in his son's life. Not when the son has been charged with the murder of another teenager.

The father of an 18-year-old Hamilton man charged with murder faces Halton child-pornography charges.

Sasha Todorovich, 49, faces charges of making available, possessing and accessing child pornography.

He was arrested Tuesday after police investigating the death of an Oakville teenager came across what they believed to be images of child sexual abuse.

Halton police Inspector Dave McCartney said members of the Internet child exploitation unit were then called in.

Todorovich was scheduled to appear in Milton court yesterday for a bail hearing.

McCartney and Sergeant Brian Carr, Halton police media relations officer, said they could not comment further.

Todorovich's son, Bradley, is charged in the death of Jesse Comeau, 16. He was killed July 11 during a dispute at a teen's birthday party in Burlington.

Comeau suffered multiple stab wounds in his chest and back. Another youth suffered a stab wound in his back and a girl was hit in the face.

Bradley Todorovich is charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder and assault with a weapon.
