Two-year-old boy "allegedly" murdered by dad to be laid to rest (Robertsdale, Alabama)

We posted on this case just recently. Dad MICAH HARRISON is charged in the stabbing murder of his 2-year-old son. Now we find out from Mom that Dad was abusive and had a history of drug issues. Can't say I'm surprised.

 ROBERTSDALE, Alabama --

A Robertsdale mother is saying goodbye to her two-year son.

"He just stole my heart everyday," says Megan Kelley. "He made me happy."

Last Thursday, Megan Kelley's son, Micheal was murdered. The suspect- the toddler's own father.

Police say Micah Harrison stabbed his son to death at an apartment complex in Indiana. Investigators say Harrison used a kitchen knife and a nail puller to kill his son.

Kelley and Harrison were common-law husband and wife...Megan says in the days leading up to the murder, Micah snapped, throwing her out of their truck and leaving her on the side of the road.

Megan says Harrison then took Michael and their two daughters and fled to Indiana without her knowledge.

Harrison- who was charged with his son's murder- is on suicide watch in Indiana. Megan says her husband was abusive and struggled with a drug addiction.

Michael's two sisters, Katie and Kylie, found out about the murder Friday. A grief counselor sat the girls down and told them their brother was in Heaven- and would not be coming home.

The family has set up a memorial fund at Pen Air Federal Credit Union- they hope the community will help Megan and their grandchildren get back on their feet as they struggle with this heartbreaking loss.

Donations can be made at any Pen Air Federal Credit Union branch under the benefit account for Michael Wade Harrison.
