Dad charged in death of 7-week-old baby, injury of twin (Huntersville, North Carolina)
The "caretaker" dad is identified as CORY ALLEN GEISLER. Not one word about a mother in the home. What happened to Mom? Was she working while this POS was beating up on the babies?

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- The death of a 7-week-old infant coupled with the injury of the twin sibling the following day led investigators to arrest a Huntersville man on two counts of child abuse.
Huntersville Police responded to the home of 25-year-old Cory Allen Geisler in the 7500 block of Rolling Meadows lane last Thursday in reference to an unresponsive infant.
Officials pronounced the infant dead shortly after arriving at the scene. Through the course of the investigation, authorities determined the 7-week-old infant was the victim of abuse, and the autopsy revealed the child had serious injuries unrelated to the cause of death.
The next day, Friday, January 18, Huntersville Police responded to a pediatrician's office for injuries to the deceased infant's twin sibling. The living injured twin infant was taken to Presbyterian Hemby Children's Emergency Department in Charlotte for treatment for serious injuries. Officials determined that this child, too, was the victim of abuse.
On Sunday, Geisler, the biological father of the twins, was placed under arrest on one count of child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury in relation to the injured living infant.
On Wednesday, officials charged Geisler with an additional count of child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury for the deceased infant.
The investigation continues, and anyone with information is asked to contact Huntersville Police Deputy Chief Michael Kee at (704) 464-5400.
