The father of a nine week old baby whose leg was broken after it was tossed and bounced off a bed has pleaded guilty to a felony charge.
23 year old Rundell Miller, Jr. of College Station was sentenced to five years in prison in an agreement with prosecutors from an incident that took place in May 2011.
The infant was hospitalized in Austin for a broken femur.
During an interview with police, Miller said he was frustrated at the time because the baby was crying and a second child was, in the father’s words, “yapping and messing with stuff.”
