Dad KHALIL BROWN has pleaded not guilty in the shaking death of his 10-week-old daughter. The baby died of severe head injuries.

NORRISTOWN —

A 20-year-old father accused of shaking his 10-week-old daughter, who later died of severe brain injuries, pleaded not guilty Monday.

Khalil Brown, 20, who is being held without bail, appeared before Montgomery County Judge Joseph A. Smyth Jr. at an arraignment. Brown’s defense attorney asked the judge to set bail; however, Smyth wanted to talk to prison officials before making a decision.

The victim, Aniyah Brown, died days after suffering the injuries in the bedroom of her Plymouth Meeting home in January.
