Dad charged with multiple felonies for flinging infant daughter onto highway (Boulder Creek, California)
Seems daddy ERIK JOHNSTON got "angry" while driving, so he grabbed his 9-month-old daughter and threw her more than 20 feet onto the highway.

Father Allegedly Flings Baby Onto S. Cruz Highway
BOULDER CREEK (CBS 5 / AP) ― A Santa Cruz County man faces multiple felony charges for allegedly throwing his infant daughter out of his car and into the lanes of a highway.
Prosecutors say 23-year-old Erik Johnston was driving his car on April 1 when he became angry and pulled over along Highway 9. The Boulder Creek man allegedly grabbed his 9-month-old daughter by the arm and threw her more than 20 feet onto the roadway.
Prosecutors say the mother quickly retrieved the child and was ordered by Johnston to get back into the car.
A person who partially witnessed the incident called the sheriff's office.
Authorities say the child suffered cuts to her mouth, stomach, sides and legs when she landed on the road.
Johnston is due back in court next week to face charges including domestic battery, child endangerment and false imprisonment.
