Dad arrested for abusing 5-year-old daughter during his spring break visitation (Tyrone, Georgia)
Dad GABRIEL TODD EASTERWOOD has been arrested on battery charges for beating his 5-year-old daughter, who was visiting Daddy over spring break.
What are the odds that this guy was abusive to the mother or the daughter during his former marriage? Pretty darn high. But of course, he gets unsupervised visitation anyway.

Gabriel Todd Easterwood, 32, of Tyrone turned himself in to Tyrone Police April 13, following a warrant for his arrest for allegedly abusing his 5-year-old daughter while she was visiting him during spring break.
Easterwood could be facing a 5 to 20-year sentence in jail if he's found guilty of cruelty to children in the first degree and simple battery charges, after striking his daughter with a belt, said Tyrone Police Chief Brandon Perkins.
The girl's mother spoke with police a day after picking her up from her ex-husband's residence at 250 Millbrook Drive. Around that time, she discovered a 3-4 inch-long bruise on the child's left thigh.
The girl reportedly told her mother Easterwood hit her with a belt as punishment and it caused the bruise. The child was unsure of the exact date she was struck, according to a police report provided by the Tyrone Police Department, but the child was at her father's house from April 5 to April 11.
Police did not say what caused the father's actions that led to the incident.
