Betrayed by cops: father tried to kill 3-year-old twin daughters (Randfonstein, South Africa)
Seems you see the same police indifference where ever you go on the globe. UNNAMED DAD, who had a history of domestic violence against the mother, came to her house and stabbed one of their 3-year-old twin daughters, and tried to strangle the other. Although she has tried to have him arrested for assault before, the police failed to do anything.

A RANDFONTEIN woman has accused police of failing her and her children after her abusive ex-boyfriend tried to kill the children.
The father of her twin daughters, who she tried to have arrested on several occasions for attacking her, came to her house at the weekend and stabbed one of her 3-year-old twins. The man also tried to strangle the other twin.
One of the three-year-old twins is fighting for her life at Kalafong Hospital after being stabbed while the other is recovering at home.
The children’s mother, told Sowetan yesterday that signs of her ex-boyfriend violent tendencies started showing immediately after the birth of her twin girls – but matters came to a head on New Year’s day last year.
“He beat me up senseless because he said I was cheating on him,” she said.
Then the ex-boyfriend threatened to kill the twins’ mother and vowed that if he could not have me, “no one else will”.
“He then told me he would kill me and my two children.”
Although she opened a case of assault against him the man was never arrested .
“He came back early on Sunday afternoon and demanded to see his children. He was with a female companion and was drunk. I refused to let him see them.”
She later relented allowed him to see the children under the supervision of their grandfather.
“After some time, his elder brother called me to say that Kelebogile had collapsed and had been taken to hospital.”
It was only when she arrived at Kalafong Hospital that she realised the extent of her child’s injuries.
“She had a stab wound to the side of her neck and had lost a lot of blood,” the mother said.
Her sister said the man should be arrested and denied bail for his deeds . “He must not be given bail, and police should stop dragging their feet,” she said.
Randfontein police spokesperson Captain Appel Ernst confirmed that a docket had been opened.
“I can confirm that a case of attempted murder has been opened. The man has fled and police are busy conducting an intensive search for him in and around Mohlakeng,” said Ernst.
