FALMOUTH, Mass. -- A Holyoke father faces charges after using his 13-year-old daughter as his designated driver.

Francis Frisini is behind bars facing serious charges, including wreckless endangerment of a child.

“On the way home from the beach we saw the car was swerving and I said they must be drunk, and when I saw it was a girl with her father I thought she must be learning her how to drive, and then I did say though, she does look awfully young,” said one woman.

People on Nobska Beach said Frasini was trouble from the start, but it’s when he left that someone called police.

Police said Frisini was drunk, but making matters worse, he asked his 13-year-old daughter to drive to his brother's house 7 miles away.

Peter Young, also 13, got a good look at her and said he knew she was stressed.

“She looked at me and she looked like she needed help. She was like, took a deep breath in, then we just pulled away, but I thought she looked nervous,” said Young.

She was driving a long and winding road with her allegedly drunk dad in the car.

I think it’s disgraceful. She could’ve killed someone; killed herself. Shame on him. People have to look into that,” said one woman.

The Department of Children and Families was already following Frasini’s arrest on a domestic abuse charge at his brother's East Falmouth home just hours after police had his brother pick up the 46-yr-old and his daughter when they were stopped a few miles from the beach.
