Custodial dad accused of locking son in basement in court (Fort Wayne, Indiana)

Not surprising that the media is already erasing the fact that dad ERIC URBANO is custodial. But we'll remind you, just in case you forgot:

And isn't Daddy the slick dude. All tanned and rested from his vacation in Florida. Yup, yup. Had his hair touched up I see. Nice, very nice. Cool leather jacket and sunglasses. Quite the picture we have here.

Meanwhile, the son is locked in a sh--ty basement like some rabid dog, and the frantic mom--who lives out of state--hasn't been able to talk to the boy in 6 months.

So who gave this pompous @$$hole custody? Any judge want to own up to that?

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne father accused of locking his son in a feces-covered basement was in court Friday morning.

Eric Urbano, 38, didn't have much to say, but his change in appearance certainly made a statement.

Urbano walked to court with black hair, dark sunglasses, and a leather coat. In his mug shot taken some time ago, Urbano has white hair.

When asked if he had anything to say Urbano said, “talk to my lawyer”, but didn't have one.

We’re told he pled not guilty to the Class D felony, neglect of a dependant. But in court documents Indiana’s NewsCenter obtained Wednesday, he admitted to police he frequently locked his emotionally challenged son in the basement and waived his rights at that time.

The Department of Child Service officials say they've never seen anything like it in our area.

According to court documents the child was locked in the basement every night for six months. And police found feces in every room of the home.
