Police: Dad beat 4-year-old daughter for putting her shoe on the wrong foot (Jackson, Tennessee)
Read this account carefully. Dad KEVIN PAWLOWSKI didn't just "hit" his daughter with a shoe, which implies that he "merely" threw it. No, he BEAT HER ON THE BACK while holding the shoe. All because the 4-year-old was putting the shoe on the wrong foot.
All three of his kids have been put in the custody of Children's Services. Note that there is not one word about a mother in this home. Is this a single father?

Three children are in the custody of the Department of Children's Services after their father was accused of hitting the 4-year-old with a shoe.
DCS spokesman Calista Doll said state authorities were working with law enforcement on the case but declined to give further details.
Kevin Pawlowski, 35, was arrested Tuesday and charged with child abuse and neglect, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit said he told investigators he hit his 4-year-old daughter in the back with a shoe several times because she was trying to put her shoe on the wrong foot.
Pawlowski was released on $5,000 bond and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Jackson City Court.
