Dad incited on murder charge in death of 5-month-old daughter; baby died of multiple blunt force injuries (Humboldt, Florida)
Once again, we apparently have a babysitting dad, LAMONT JOHNSON, who got "frustrated" or something like that. So he takes it out on his 5-month-old daughter, who dies from "multiple blunt force injuries" (i.e. being beaten to death). Daddy is charged with homicide.

A grand jury indicted a Humboldt man Monday on a murder charge in the death of his 5-month-old daughter, according to a news release this morning from Humboldt police.
Lamont Johnson, 35, was indicted on a charge of murder in the perpetration of a felony. He was arrested at his home without incident and is being held without bond at the Gibson County Correctional Complex, the release said.
The baby, Acacia Short, died July 8. Police and EMS responded to Johnson's home, at 32 Vance St., at 12:36 p.m. that day and found the child not breathing, police said. The baby was taken by ambulance to Humboldt General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Johnson told police the baby had fallen off the couch, but an autopsy concluded she died of multiple blunt force injuries and characterized her death as a homicide, police have said.
The baby's mother, Brittany Short, has said she was not home at the time of the incident.
The investigation continues and anyone with information should contact the Humboldt Police Department at (731) 784-1322 or Gibson County Crime Stoppers at (731) 995-0003, police said today.
