Dad charged wth felony child abuse in battering of 4-month-old daughter (Coldwater, Michigan)

Dad TODD HETRICK has been charged with two counts of felony child abuse in the battering of his 4-month-old daughter. The baby had bruises, and bloody nose, and a split lip. Wonder if he'll claim self-defense? Mom says she "left her with the father." Big mistake. These young morons make bad babysitters.

Coldwater, Mich. — Todd Hetrick faces two charges of first degree child abuse after doctors at Bronson Medical Center in Kalamazoo questioned Nov. 21, 2009 injuries to his 4-month-old daughter.

Branch County Prosecutor Terri Norris filed two 15-year felony charges against the 20-year-old father after an investigation by Coldwater Police Department officers.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the baby’s mother said the child was “fine” when she left her with the father. Doctors said the child, who had bruises, had a bloody nose and split lip.
