Here's a question for the Pinellas County, Florida Police Department: This father was jailed in lieu of a $50,000 bond for assaulting his infant son, with about the same evidence as you had in the CRAIG WALL case. So explain to us again why you couldn't arrest Wall?

State Police claim young father says he dropped the baby in the bassinet too hard.

PRINCETON -- A teenage father is accused of seriously injuring his infant son and the victim is just more than 7 weeks old. Paul Daniel, 19, Asbury of Lashmeet is facing a felony count of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury.
Asbury's son Jaiden was reportedly suffering from a subdural bleed in the rear portion of his brain when he was brought into the emergency room by the Princeton Rescue Squad on Wednesday. The baby also had a bruise on the right side of the mouth and another bruise to his left temple area.
State police say they interviewed the father, who reportedly told investigators that he became agitated with the baby as he cared for him and "dropped" him in the bassinet too hard, causing the injuries. Baby Jaiden is in the intensive care unite at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Paul Asbury has been arraigned in a Mercer County Magistrate Court. He's being held in the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Dad PAUL DANIEL ASBURY has been jailed on felony child abuse charges. The baby suffered a subdural brain bleed and bruises on his head while in his father's "care." He is now in intensive care. Daddy says he got "agitated" and dropped the baby.
