Charlie Sheen: an Abusive Husband with a Long History of Domestic Violence

Charlie Sheen was arrested on Christmas day in Aspen, Colorado for allegedly assaulting his wife, Brooke Mueller. She told cops that he threatened her with a knife. Sheen faces charges of second-degree assault, menacing, and criminal justice.

There is currently a protection order that forbids contact between Charlie and Brooke due to the alleged domestic violence incident on Christmas day. Radar Online notes that Brooke told the cops on Christmas Day that Sheen has been violent with her before. He previously sent her flying to the floor and she hit her head. She did seek medical care after the incident.

Kelly Preston Shot by Charlie Sheen

Sheen has a long history of being abusive to the women in his life. He allegedly shot actress Kelly Preston in the arm in 1991 while they were engaged. It was deemed an "accident" but since the engagement ended something serious happened between Preston and Sheen.

Brittany Ashland Abused by Sheen

Also, in 1996 Charlie Sheen abused his girlfriend Brittany Ashland. The Los Angeles Times notes that he "pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of battery with serious bodily injury." That domestic dispute involved Charlie causing Brittany to become unconscious when his violence knocked her to the floor.

Is Sheen a Good Dad?

Charlie Sheen keeps creating kids, but he's not doing a very good job of being a father. When will his "bad boy" behavior stop? At age 44 he is way too old to be a bad boy now. His kids need their dad to be a man. His kids need a stable father who treats their mother with respect and kindness.

Charlie Sheen has two twin boys with wife Brooke. He also had daughters with former wife Denise Richards.

Will Brooke Leave Charlie Sheen?

Brooke Mueller has a short marriage of less than two years with Charlie Sheen. She is now trying to get the protection order against Sheen changed to allow her to interact with him. She wants to make their marriage work.

Staying with Sheen is a mistake. Cut your losses Brooke and move on. Any man that hits you is not worthy to be a husband. And if he's abusing you is it safe for him to be around the kids?
