Dad CARSON DAY has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of his 20-month-old son and the attempted murder of the child's mother.

An Akwesasne man who pled guilty to killing his infant son and the attempted murder of the child's mother will be sentenced in late March.
A Superior Court Justice found Carson Day, 22, guilty of second-degree murder in the July 2007 death of 20-month-old Landon and the attempted murder of his common-law spouse.
Justice Johanne Lafrance-Cardinal set aside one day for the man's sentencing.
Day was arrested on July 14, 2007 by Akwesasne Mohawk Police after the mother reported that he had attacked her with a knife and cut her throat at a Martin Road apartment building on Cornwall lsland.
Day will be sentenced on March 30.
