"Knife thug" dad "disembowells" ex-wife's new boyfriend because their kids were alone at the public library (Edinburgh, Scotland)
"Knife thug" dad WAYNE ANGUS "flew into a rage" when he found that his children at been left alone at a public library (oh the horror...). So naturally he attacks Mom's new boyfriend with a knife, effectively "disembowelling" him. All this took place in front of the 7-and 9-year-old sons. The boyfriend required two emergency surgeries to save his life. Not surprisingly, Dad has quite the rap sheet: former heroin addict, drug dealer, SIX previous convictions for assault (you don't say), and one conviction for assault and robbery.

A violent father who disembowelled another man with a knife while his own children stood nearby has been jailed for six years.
Victim Bryan Carter was pulling off his shirt, preparing for a "square go", when thug Wayne Angus struck out with a blade.
Angus's seven and nine year old sons were only yards away from the scene in Edinburgh's Sighthill when their Dad inflicted the horrific injury on their mother's boyfriend.
Sentencing the 33-year-old, judge Lord Malcom told him knife crime was a scourge on society, adding: "It is hard to imagine a worse example of this type of crime.
"You deliberately armed yourself with a large knife and with your young children nearby you carried out a cowardly and vicious attack on their mother's unarmed partner."
Mr Carter was in a relationship with Angus's ex-wife Marie McFarlane. The couple had had four children before their marriage ended.
The High Court in Edinburgh heard that Angus flew into a rage when he discovered his ex and Mr Carter had left the children unattended at a local library while they went to the dentist and paid a visit to family last September.
He took the youngsters home and began arguing with Ms McFarlane, before Mr Carter invited him to a fight. The men then began walking round the corner of the house and Mr Carter began to remove his shirt.
Prosecutor Graeme Jessop said: "Whilst the shirt was covering his face, the accused stabbed him in the stomach with a large knife.
"Mr Carter collapsed on the ground, his intestines spilling out of the wound to his stomach."
The court heard he needed two emergency operations to control bleeding and save his life.
Angus, a former heroin addict and drug dealer, admitted assaulting Mr Carter to the danger of his life. The court heard he had a criminal record which listed six previous convictions for assault and one for assault and robbery.
Lord Malcolm ordered Angus to serve six years in prison.
He also made an order extending the time Angus will spend on licence after his release by a further four years, warning him that if he were in any further trouble he could still be in prison in 2019.
