Dad charged in death of 21-month-old daughter (Frederick, Maryland)
Notice that dad FRANKIE WILLIAMS is not being charged with murder. Why? Is a child's life worth less, especially if it's your own? And was there a mother in this home? Notice there is no mention of one.

Father facing Charges in Daughter's Death

FREDERICK, Md. - Frederick Police say Frankie Williams of the 300 block of Prospect Blvd. is facing several charges after they say he is responsible for his 21-month-old daughter's death. First responders were called to the house around 11:50pm Friday night and say they found a 21-month-old child unresponsive and immediately began life saving efforts. The young girl was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say an investigation into her death revealed suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, that visible marks and bruises were observed on her body at the hospital.
During the course of the investigation police say the father was identified as the person who inflicted the injuries. Williams is facing first degree child abuse resulting in death, first degree child abuse with severe physical injury, and first degree assault.
