Police save wife and child held hostage by father

Denver Police were called to the 900 block of Bryant Street around 7 p.m.
A neighbor called police after hearing screaming coming from inside the home.
Officers made contact with the man, who made threats against police and his family.
"He threatened to kill them and threatened to kill the officers. He was acting very irrational," Cmdr. Patrick Phelan with the Denver Police Department's Special Operations Division said.
Officers attempted to negotiate with the man for 10 minutes to get him to surrender but he refused.
Police negotiators later spoke to the mother, who began pleading for help.
"At point she said, 'He's choking my son, he's choking my son.' At that point, to save the hostages we did a crisis entry, forced our way into the room and rescued the hostages, the wife and son, and apprehended the suspect," Phelan said.
When officers entered the home they heard a child's voice coming from the back bedroom and then heard a woman say, "He has a knife."
Officers then went into the bedroom and shot the man with the Taser before taking him into custody.
One officer suffered minor injuries during the entry.
The woman, child and the suspect were taken to the hospital to get checked out.
The suspect's name was not released.
"Very dangerous operation for the officers involved. Unbelievable situation. Officers did a tremendous job, just a tremendous job. Saved the wife and child," Phelan said.
yea and then what they Didn't tell you, is that then they called CPS on the mother, who then coddled the poo poor man for his uh, Stress, asked her what SHE did to cause it, then the DA then decided to charge her with Failure to Protect and the CPS goons then decided to force her into counseling with the father, if they don't, I can assure you the Probation and Mental Health folks will because ya know, he must have reacted to her feminist nazi ways or some crap like that...
ReplyDeletesarcastic yes, but This is how they do crap here, but they hide it, and the DV folks are just as horrid at protecting the Menz as the court systems, CPS and Mental Health. They say One thing,
turn around and do another, OCCASIONALLY they do the right thing, what I term as their 'token case' to fool the public TAXPAYER to keep forking out tons of dollars to corrupt officials who then pocket the money, exchange favors [political being a big one, votes and all] and of course, their annual 'fundraising' and 'dinner parties' tickets for sale, and loe and behold, do the research and you find,
that the judges wives are on boards with mental health and the lawyers are on boards of the DV and the church fundies are in bed with them all [or Mens' rights Groups, which are big in power here] and it's all one big fat scam...
and few notice because the media does such a wonderful job showcasing what they need to, to fool the public, where the monies come from, and those that fall within the cracks, children rotting away in abusive foster/juve homes [our records for children raped and tortured to death in GOV care here are HIGH], all of course, ignored DV cases or cases where MOTHERS are slammed instead,
it's unbelievable. And the cops, the corruption there, well, that would take a book....the travesty is just how few Americans really know what's going on. It's a circus show and no one believes it until they are in the sacrificial middle--but the numbers of victims of these so called 'good moral upstanding power holders' are just that, a hoax, and the numbers of victims are rising. Sad
