Adams County Infant Dies, Father Charged

An Adams County man is behind bars, facing charges in connection with the death of his five month old son.

Police say they were called to a home on Cemetery Street in Manchester last Wednesday around 5:45 p.m. They found 5 month old Carson Moore was not breathing. Medics took him to Meadowview Regional Hospital and then he was flown to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. Carson died at Children's Hospital on Friday afternoon.

His father Johnathon Moore is now under arrest, accused of child endangering. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and further charges may be filed in this case. But they did not disclose any further details in the baby's death.
