Dad who murdered mom, injured child in vehicular homicide gets 4 years in prison (Louisville, Kentucky)
Dad COREY LEE BROWN has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and child abuse. This piece of sh** forced the mom's car off the road, causing a vehicle rollover that killed the mom, and injured their child. (Another child in the vehicle was also injured.) After robbing this mother of her life, and leaving her children effectively orphans, Daddy gets a stipulated 4-year-jail sentence. So after demonstrating that the lives of mothers are worth jacksh** in the state of Kentucky, I wonder if the authorities will grant Daddy prison visitation with the surviving child?

The expected sentencing of a 24-year-old Louisville man who ran a single mother of two off the road and killed her in September was postponed this morning until April 7.
In a deal Corey Lee Smith made with prosecutors in January, he pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and child abuse in exchange for a stipulated four-year prison sentence.
Smith was arrested after the Sept. 8 crash on Louisville's Via Appia Way that killed Jennefer Treasure, 22, the mother of one of his children.
Treasure was driving north on Via Appia just south of South Boulder Road with Smith's two small children in the car — one of whom was her child and Jennefer Treasure one of whom was not — when Smith pulled up beside her and veered into her path, according to police.
That caused Treasure, also of Louisville, to run off the road and roll her car 2 1/2 times, police reported.
Treasure was killed in the accident, but both of the children in the car survived and were not seriously injured.
Smith left the Boulder County Jail in September after posting a $100,000 bond.
