Dad so drunk he had underaged daughter shift the gears while he was driving (Cary, North Carolina)
It sounds like the beginning of a joke. "This dad was SO drunk that..." "How drunk was he?" "He was so drunk he had his young daughter shift the gears for him while he was driving."
Only that's the real deal with dad STEVEN SEAN BLACK, and it wasn't a joke. Especially after the police caught his drunken @$$.

Father accused of driving drunk
From Staff Reports
CARY - A Cary father was charged with child abuse after police accused him of driving drunk with his daughter in the car.
Steven Sean Black, 37, of 125 Callan Park Lane was arrested Friday on a charge of misdemeanor child abuse, according to arrest warrants.
Black drove his car while intoxicated with his daughter sitting in the passenger seat, warrants said. His daughter, who is younger than 16, had to shift the car's gears because, she told police, her "father was too drunk," according to warrants.
Witnesses called police when they saw Black's daughter sitting alone crying in a parked car.
Black had left his daughter and returned home, warrants said.
Black was released from jail under a $1,000 secured bond. He faces a judge Oct. 22.
