Dad stabs to death mom, 5-year-old daughter (Dallas, Texas)
UNNAMED DAD is in custody for stabbing the mom and 5-year-old daughter to death. Two other children, ages 10 and 8, were injured.

Suspect In Custody As Police Believe Case Is Domestic Violence
Reporting Marianne Martinez DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― Authorities in Dallas have a man in custody for allegedly stabbing a mother and child to death. The attack happened Monday night at a home in the 3800 block of Morning Springs Trail. Police have said that this is a case of domestic violence.
The 32-year-old Oak Cliff mother, identified as Lovetta Armstead, and her 5-year-old daughter, Jazzmen Montgomery, are now dead. Two other children, ages 10 and 8, were also injured and taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police believe that the suspect is the husband or father of the deceased. "It's going to be family violence, and we know the suspect took the complainant's vehicle," explained Sgt. Eugene Reyes with the Dallas Police Department.
It is still unclear what led to the violent stabbing, but authorities said that a neighbor made the 911 call.
The suspect surrendered to police early Tuesday morning.
