Dad, son arrested in stabbing of young man (Stillwater, Oklahoma)

Yup, another fine example of father-son togetherness and stellar role modeling--this time by dad HOWARD MICHAEL GASHWAZRA. Hmm, never thought about slicing somebody's throat as a possible father-son activity, but I guess I lack imagination. Gee, whatever happened to fishing or baseball? Too tame for these days?

STILLWATER, Okla. -- A father and son were arrested Friday on suspicion of cutting another teen's throat and leaving him for dead.

Jason Wells, 19, was attacked sometime Wednesday night at Lake McMurtry in Stillwater. Authorities said a fisherman found him near death on Thursday morning.

Investigators said Wells met Howard Michael Gashwazra, 40, and Aaron Scott Ellis Gashwazra, 24, at a bar in the area. The Trine, Okla., men were arrested on Friday.

Police are not aware of any motive for the attack.

Both men are charged with robbery and attempted first-degree murder.

Wells had been in very critical condition on Thursday but has improved enough to be able to communicate some with detectives, Stillwater police Capt. Randy Dickerson said.
