PHAGWARA: Phagwara Police has succeeded to solve the mystery of the murder of a three years old minor boy and arrested his step-father Karan Yadav a bihari migorant on the charges of the killing his own son Kala alias Deepa in nearby village Bhakhrriana on the night of September 21.

Phagwara DSP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh while confirming the arrest of the killer father, told media-persons on Friday that the arrested accused has confessed his crime.

DSP Khakh disclosed that the accused karan yadav was residing in village Bhakhrriana with his second wife and son from her early marriage whom karan yadav could not stand.

The Accused had admitted that he killed his step-son and had thrown his corpse in a dried up pond outside the village Bhakhriana, said DSP.

The accused was produced before local judicial magistrate who sent him in police remand till Saturday for further interrogation.
