Dad attacks two people at casino, abandons 2-year-old son (St. Charles, Missouri)
Dad EVAN H. WORMLEY attacks two people because they won't give him money at a casino, then drops his 2-year-old son who is only wearing a dirty diaper and leaves. The baby is now in the custody of his grandmother. Hmm--no mom mentioned. Single dad?

ST. CHARLES -- Evan H. Wormley, 21, of the 4500 block of Evans Avenue in St. Louis, was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child. Police said Wormley took his 2-year-old son to the Ameristar Casino about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, attacked a man and woman after they refused his request for money and dropped the boy wearing only a dirty diaper onto a commercial floor sweeper before fleeing the casino without his son. Police said the boy and one of the victims were treated for minor injuries. The state took custody of the child, who is now in the care of his grandmother, police said. Wormley was held Monday in lieu of $15,000 bail. Detective Derek Piasecki said assault charges were pending.
