Stay-at-home dad to stand trial for decapitation murder of 7-year-old disabled son (Thibodaux, Louisiana)

We've been following this case since it first broke, but somehow I missed this update when it came out last month. What is not mentioned here is that JEREMIAH WRIGHT was a "stay-at-home" dad (i.e. worthless deadbeat) who was financially supported by his wife. But all he ever did was whine and complain. And then he "allegedly" murdered this poor boy in an utterly vicious manner, and left the mutilated body where the mother would see it.

THIBODAUX, LA (NBC33) — The man accused of decapitating his 7 year old son is competent to stand trial, according to court documents.

Jeremiah Wright is charged with First-Degree murder in the death of his special needs son, Jori Lirette. The incident happened on August 14, 2011.

Sources tell us that doctors have been treating Wright at the Feliciana Forensic Facility in Jackson for the past nine months. Those doctors say Wright is competent enough to go to trial.

Jori's head was found on the road by someone driving by. The rest of his body was found in a garbage bag. Wright will be back in court for a competency hearing in September.
