Children being forced by fathers to make pornography (North-West, Australia)

Three different parents (i.e. mothers) contacted this organization regarding the use of their children in child porn--which their fathers were behind. None of the mothers knew about the other mothers. Notice how the police tend to trash the mothers--and not the fathers--in these matters. This is typical across the globe.

Child porn allegations

ONE of Australia's most qualified child protection experts has raised explosive allegations with Tasmania Police about three separate cases of North-West children being forced by their fathers to make pornography.

Emeritus Professor Freda Briggs AO, a former Scotland Yard child protection officer, who is heading to the Coast this week to seek a meeting with Western District Police chief Locky Avery, pre-emptively emailed Tasmania Police yesterday detailing the disturbing allegations.

In the email Professor Briggs, an Adelaide academic, says the three matters were conveyed to her by the National Child Protection Alliance, which had "received information from three parents (who were unaware of each other)".

Prof Briggs notes the allegations as:

"young children are being used by their fathers for making pornography in Burnie"; and

"police interviews and handling showed ignorance about child sexual abuse and within seconds, the mothers were accused of emotionally abusing the children by making reports".

She goes on to allege a four-year- old girl had "a green, obnoxious vaginal discharge" yet forensic tests had not been done and the "Family Court has banned medical examinations" because there was no visible sign of injury to the toddler.

Prof Briggs detailed more of the allegations to The Advocate yesterday and potential links between the three complaints, all of which she will pass on to police.

Cmdr Avery said he had passed the initial information on to a detective, who would contact Prof Briggs to get all the details.

"We will obviously follow it up," Cmdr Avery said.

"Freda Briggs will be spoken to to see if we can get more detail."

Cmdr Avery said matters involving the Family Court were often very complex and must be investigated with great caution and balance.

Prof Briggs is flying to Devonport tomorrow and is also expected to have a video conference with Liberal children spokeswoman Jackie Petrusma in Hobart during her visit.
